EVOLVING BRAND SHOPPING
While I was a UX Designer at Amazon, I worked to evolve the Brand Shopping Experience on our website and mobile platforms.
My primary focus was on Stores. Stores are multipage, immersive shopping experiences on Amazon that allow a brand to showcase its offerings and products.
I worked on the advertiser experience (how a Store is built), allowing brands to create and build their Store for free. I also worked on the shopper-facing experience (how a Store is rendered) that allows a shopper to discover a brand and its offerings as well as to build trust. As part of the shopper-facing experience, I partnered closely with the teams across retail to drive traffic to Stores, help a brand tell their story off their Store, and facilitate brand initiatives these teams would like to accomplish at scale.
We saw almost a 50% increase in Store creation in just one year and a half.
I loved solving complex problems for our disparate users.
I am not at liberty to discuss the projects I am working on in further detail in a public setting. If you’d like to learn more, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to dive deeper into my general design process or projects I’ve shipped, sharing what I am allowed to.
